To put it simply solar panels installed on rooftops or in open areas capture sunlight and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. This electricity is then converted into alternating current (AC) through an inverter for use in homes or businesses.
You also have the option to use battery storage, which is a great money-saving addition to a solar power system as it allows you to store excess power to use at night or when there is a black out.
